The current geopolitical situation in the Middle East, including the conflict in the region and its impact on the transport corridors through the Strait of Hormuz, has led to significant instability in global oil markets. In recent days, this has also been reflected in a noticeable increase in fuel prices, especially diesel.
This development is beyond our control, but has a direct impact on transportation costs. In order to avoid subsequent adjustments and sudden changes for our customers, ALOG OOD has decided to update the fuel tax calculation model.

Weekly update of the fuel tax
From now on, the fuel tax will be updated on a weekly basis, instead of monthly, starting from Monday, March 9, 2026. The updated fuel tax percentage will be determined every Monday based on the average fuel prices of the previous week. This will ensure a more accurate and fair reflection of real market conditions during a period of strong fluctuations.
